The "Historical Journal of Film, Radio and Television" is looking for
book reviewers to contribute to future issues and has brand new copies
of the following titles:

2. Cinemas in Transition in Central and Eastern Europe after 1989
(Portuges & Hamesn, eds)
3. The War that won't die: the Spanish Civil War in Cinema (Archibald)
4. Marcel Pagnol (Bowles)
5. Spanish Cinema 1973-2010: Auteurism, landscape and memory (Delgado &
Fiddian, eds)
6. The Catholic Church and Hollywood: Censorship and Morality in 1930s
Cinema (McGregor)
7. Local Radio Going Global (Starkey)
8. The British Film Industry in the 1970s: Capital, Culture and
Creativity (Barber)
9. Viewpoints: Theoretical Perspectives on Irish Visual Texts (Bracken &
Radley, eds)
10. Der absolute Film: Dokumente der Medienavantgarde (Kiening & Adolf,
eds)
Reviews are typically in the 500-1.000 word range. The projected
deadline is 4 November 2013. Individuals interested in a particular
title should contact me personally: (roel.vandewinkel /at/ gmail.com). Please
make sure to include some information about your research and expertise
and/or explain why you are interested in reviewing the title of your
choice.
