II International Creative Cities Conference
Madrid, October 26th, 27th, 28th 2011


The Communications Faculty at the Complutense University of Madrid and  the
Icono 14 Scientific Association, organizes at Madrid, Spain, the II
International Creative Cities Conference  that will take place on October
26th, 27th, 28th 2011 and will addresses the innovative actions carried out
by public and private, governmental or non-governmental organizations,
national and international companies and citizens, artists and communities;
all of those who can, in some way, creatively participate in the
construction of what we know as =B3cities=B2.
We open its participation to everybody interested in understanding the
cities spaces and their creative use. The deadline for sending the proposal
is July 20th 2011, and it must be sent only through the specific system of
the Conference website<http://www.ciudadescreativas.es/>

proposals should be sent to one of the following thematic lines in English,
Spanish or Portuguese.
01.- The built city: theory and history of the cities
02.- The represented city: culture, art, museums, theater and the city
03.- The lived city: daily life in the city, the neighborhoods,
associations, security, mobility and freedom
04.- The walked city: policies and transport actions, as well as the public
services of the city
05.- The city as market: industry, commerce and economy in the city
06.- The supportive city: social services in the city
07.- The recreational city: leisure and sports in the city
08.- The silent and resounding city: music in the city
09.- The imagined city: films, literature and the city
10.- The imaginary city: videogames, comic and the city
11.- The creative city: tradition, personality and innovation in the city
12.- The communicated city: the media and the city
13.- The habitable city: architecture and urbanism in the city
14.- The sustainable city: health, ecology and the city
15.- The virtual and the real city: technology and the city
16.- The wise city: education and the city
17.- The visited city: tourism and the city
18.- The identitary city: brand identity and image of the city
19.- The accessible city: the disabled people integration in the city
20.- The egalitarian city: gender and the city
21.- The inherited city: heritage and the city
22.- The 2.0 city: online social networks and the city
23.- The volunteer city: volunteering in the city
24.- The governed city: administration, legislation and justice of the city

La Facultad de Ciencias de la Informaci=F3n de la Universidad Complutense de
Madrid  y la Asociaci=F3n Cient=EDfica Icono14 organizan en Madrid, Espa=F1a, los
d=EDas 26, 27 y 28 de octubre de 2011 el II Congreso Internacional de Ciudade=
s
Creativas, que aborda las acciones innovadoras que llevan a cabo agentes
p=FAblicos y privados, organizaciones gubernamentales y no gubernamentales,
empresas y ciudadanos nacionales e internacionales, artistas y colectivos;
en fin, todos aquellos que de alg=FAn modo intervienen creativamente en la
construcci=F3n de lo que llamamos ciudad.
Abrimos su participaci=F3n a todos que est=E9n interesados en el conocimiento d=
e
los espacios de las ciudades y su uso creativo. El env=EDo de propuesta de
comunicaciones o p=F3ster se cierra el 20 de julio de 2011, y se har=E1
solamente a trav=E9s de la p=E1gina web del Congreso
