Edited by Christine Daymon (Murdoch University) and Kristin Demetrious (Dea=
kin University), this trans-disciplinary special issue was the winning entr=
y in the 2010 PRism Prize for special issue editorship. It contains a broad=
 selection of new research and theory-building articles, commentaries, book=
 reviews, and reports on gender from the public relations industry, making =
a multi-perspectival contribution to a topic that has previously had limite=

The editors Natalie Tindall and Jennifer Vardeman-Winter are seeking resear=
ch that explores new facets and approaches to conceptualising and segmentin=
g publics.
