>What is Sociologica?
>Sociologica is the first online sociology journal in Italy, published by
>the main Italian social sciences publisher: Il Mulino (Bologna).
>The journal is available at www.sociologica.mulino.it and aims at
>a) debating sociologically relevant issues in an open and franc way,
>b) applying international standards to the sociological debate in Italy,
>c) promoting intellectual exchange between different approaches within

>Meeting the author
>In line with the main aims of Sociologica, Meeting the author wants to
>establish a closer link between readership and authors, supporting the
>scholarly debate at both international and national (Italian) level with
>new technologies.
>Lasting from mid June 2010 to the end of 2010, meeting the author
>foresees three (3) online seminars of 2 hours each with some of the
>leading authors for each published issue. During this period the
>participants will be able to ask questions, make comments and discuss
