> based in the Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural Industries at the
> University of Glamorgan would like to appoint a 0.5 research assistant
> for six months in the first instance (with the possibility of further
> extension) to help in the development of new projects and the
> investigation of a wide range of funding opportunities for the Centre’s
> work.

> Researchers attached to the Centre include those who work in Film,
> Television, Radio, Theatre, Performance, Art, Design, Music, Journalism
> and broad issues of Media and Communication Policy.

> Projects to date have been undertaken with a variety of partners
> including the BBC, the Film Agency for Wales and Chapter Arts Centre as
> well as projects funded by the UK research councils. The appointee will
> assist in building upon this success in collaboration with the Centre
> Director, Professor Steve Blandford and the wide range of academic staff
> associated with the Centre’s work. The appointee will also need to work
> collaboratively with a wide range of external partners in both academia
