The School of Arts and Media enjoys a national reputation across a broad spectrum of
work in Fine Art, Performance and Visual Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Photography,

as a key part of the Hastings and Bexhill regeneration programme to improve opportunities

discipline or equivalent professional experience as well as competent IT skills and the ability

Senior Lecturer in Broadcast Journalism
You will have a postgraduate qualification/PhD or equivalent research experience in
the field of Broadcast Journalism and extensive experience of teaching at degree and
postgraduate level in a range of areas including: television and radio broadcast journalism,
media regulation, law and ethics, short hand, public affairs, news journalism and new
media journalism. Up to date sound working knowledge of the subject including current
research, industry standards, codes of practice, training council accreditation and
professional/vocational developments also essential. Ref: AM3119

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Digital Post Production
You will have a postgraduate qualification/PhD or equivalent research experience in the
field of Digital Post Production, prior experience of media production teaching, learning and
research in the field and a balanced portfolio of practical, technical and academic knowledge
and skills. Understanding of academic and award standards both subject-specific and
generic which the programme is intended to foster is also essential. Ref: AM3120

Lecturer in Broadcast Media
You will have prior experience of media production teaching, learning and research
within the field. You will also have a balanced portfolio of practical, technical and
academic knowledge and skills in the field of studio, location and multi camera
media production, along with expertise and experience in the use of cameras
