Film Matters: Future Film Scholars
Intellect is delighted to announce the launch of
the first international undergraduate film
journal, Film Matters. This peer-reviewed
journal offers students from around the world an
unmatched opportunity to showcase their academic
talent. Published four times a year, each issue
will contain feature articles, as well as a
robust film and book review section.
This innovative and timely publication will
appeal to a vast community of international film
scholars. The journal enables unparalleled
access to professional academic publishing
opportunities for undergraduates, and will
exhibit cutting-edge research from outstanding future film scholars worldwide.
Film Matters is published by Intellect in
partnership with the Department of Film Studies
at the University of North Carolina Wilmington,
and benefits from Intellect?s international

The journal acknowledges the graphic power of
cinema, and encourages visual literacy of film
