[Commlist] AHRC PhD studentships in Film Studies at University of Sussex

The University of Sussex Faculty of Media, Arts and Humanities has just 
announced 5 AHRC Landscape Award PhD studentships for programmes in the 
Faculty, starting in September 2025. Full details are here:

This includes PhDs in Film Studies. The Sussex programme has particular 
specialisms in Hollywood cinema; Asian (especially Chinese-language and 
South Asian) and Latin American cinema; gender, sexuality, and feminist 
theory; documentary studies; cinema and the environment; and cinema and

While the application deadline for studentships is in January, those 
interested in applying must have also applied for a place on a PhD
