Lecturer in Filmmaking Grade 7 0.5 FTE, 3 years

The Department of Film, Theatre and Television is seeking to appoint a 
Lecturer in Filmmaking to join its lively and creative team in the 
teaching of film and television practice. This part-time, fixed-term 
post will help enhance our provision of critically informed 
practice-teaching within the Department.  The post-holder will 
facilitate deeper industry engagement in teaching by reaching out to 
screen businesses moving into Reading’s burgeoning ‘Cine Valley’, 
providing students with strong connections to potential careers. The 
ideal candidate will be a practitioner and skilled teacher with current 
industry networks, an interest in the intersection of theory and 
practice, and a commitment to sustainability, diversity and inclusion.
