[Commlist] CfA: post-doc position on Digital Sovereignty in Padova

The Department of Political Science, Law and International Studies of the University of Padova is hiring 1 research assistant (assegno di ricerca, 12 months) in the context of the PRIN 2022 project "Digital Sovereignty in Comparative Perspective: State Authority, Corporate Power and Fundamental Rights in Cyberspace".

The selected candidate will collaborate with our research focused on how digital sovereignty is conceptualized and institutionalized in different political and economic contexts with a global outlook, by analyzing related discursive practices and policy initiatives from a comparative perspective. This grant is activated to respond to the goals of WP 1: Theoretical Framework and Research Design. The grantee is expected to carry out an in-depth review of the current literature on digital sovereignty discourses, strategies and initiatives, within the wider processes of on-going hegemonic transition and related geopolitical tensions.

Requirement: PhD in International Relations (critical geopolitics, global governance, digital politics) and at least one year post-doc professional-scientific experience. Proficient level of English is required.
