The *Schools of Creative and Cultural Industries and Art and Design *at

Working across both schools the *Digital Cultures Research Centre
<https://www.dcrc.org.uk/> *(DCRC) maintains an ambitious research
programme with current research priorities configured and shaped around
four primary research themes:

* Creative Economies <https://www.dcrc.org.uk/creative-economies/>
* Restorative Futures <https://www.dcrc.org.uk/restorative-futures/>
* Screen Industries/Screen Cultures <https://www.dcrc.org.uk/screen/>
Based at the Pervasive Media Studio
<https://www.watershed.co.uk/studio/> on Bristol's Harbourside, DCRC
supports a network of researchers working across disciplinary
boundaries, foregrounding critical, creative and applied modes of research.
We welcome applications which address these interdisciplinary areas and
their intersections, and keen to hear from applicants who are attracted
to working in a collaborative knowledge exchange context, with a focus
on research in emerging fields of study and creative practice

The Centre is engaged in a number of research and knowledge exchange
collaborations and partnerships, and PGR students will benefit from
access to a network of national and international academic and industry
stakeholders, and connections with a wide range of community, cultural
and third sector organisations
The research and training environment at DCRC offers opportunities for
professional & skills development. Doctoral researchers are expected to
contribute to the Centre’s post-graduate network, and programme of
research, teaching and Pervasive Media Studio community events.
The studentships will start on *1 April 2023*

*Financial support*
Each studentship is available from 1 April 2023 for a period of three
and half years, subject to satisfactory progress, with an annual
tax-exempt stipend of £16,062
*Eligibility*
Applicants must have a good honours degree (2.1 or equivalent).
