Launched in April 2021, *MyWorld* <https://www.myworld-creates.com/> is
a brand-new five-year programme, the flagship for the UK’s creative
technology sector, and is part of a UK-wide exploration into devolved
research and development funding. (UKRI Video).

Led by the University of Bristol, with the Universities of Bath, Bath
Spa and UWE Bristol, MyWorld will position the South West as an
international trailblazer in screen-based media. This multi-disciplinary
£46m programme brings together 30 partners from Bristol and Bath’s
creative technologies sector and world-leading academic institutions, to
create a unique cross-sector consortium. MyWorld will forge dynamic
collaborations to progress technological innovation, deliver creative
excellence, establish and operate state of the art facilities, offer
skills training and drive inward investment, raising the region’s
profile on the global stage.
We are seeking a Research Fellow, to be based at UWE Bristol's Digital
Cultures Research Centre <https://www.dcrc.org.uk/>, with a strong track
record of research into the evolving practices of non-fiction media and
the delivery of high-quality research outputs.
Working closely with UWE Bristol MyWorld lead, Professor Mandy Rose
<http://www.dcrc.org.uk/people/mandy-rose/>, and a multi-disciplinary
team of industry and academic partners, you will support the development
of creative content that showcases the R & D work of the My World
programme, and highlight challenges that inform R & D priorities.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and focused researcher
in this emerging field, as part of a highly engaged critical and
creative team.
Candidates are required to have completed a PhD in a relevant field.
