School of Arts and Communication Design at the University of Reading: 
we’re looking for a great colleague with established academic 
achievement in*Film, Theatre or Television*.


The School consists of three excellent departments: Reading School of 
Art, Typography & Graphic Communication and Film, Theatre & Television. 
As the advert says, this is a good opportunity for a Professor or 
Associate Professor with proven leadership abilities: the Professorial 
role is a permanent role, with the Head of School role fixed term for 
six years in the first instance.


It’s also an exciting time for Film, Theatre & Television and the wider 
School, not least with the development of major film and television 
studios at the University’s Thames Valley Science Park, and the hope is 
that the successful candidate will be well placed to help make the most 
of this opportunity.
