Kadir Has University, Istanbul_*

*Kadir Has University Visual Communication Design Department invites 
applications for a professorial stream tenure-track appointment at the 
Assistant Professor level. The successful applicant will be responsible 
for teaching undergraduate intoductory and advanced courses on design as 
well as graduate courses on communication studies. Salary will be 
commensurate with qualifications and experience.*

**

*- A PhD in Design or Communication Studies or related field is 
required. Candidates must show excellence in teaching, scholarly 
research and publications as well as experience in service.*

**

*- Candidates with teaching & research experience in UX / IU design or 
data visualization, and interactive urban mapping  will be prioritized.*

**

*-All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. We also inquire CVs 
to cover additional courseload in animation, typography, 2D + 3D design, 
game design. Therefore, we encourage candidates from different expertise 
on design and visual communication to apply for theoretical and 
practical courses.*

*- Additional responsibilities include involvement in departmental, 
faculty-wide, and university committees and annual & periodic program 
level assessments.*

*- The successful applicant should also be committed to community 
services, outreach programs, and scholarship.*
