Research assistant at the Ideograma-UPF Chair of Political Communication

*Tasks*
-Collaboration and support to the research carried out by the Chair
-Support in web and social media management
-Support in writing reports on the Chair’s activities
-Support in the organization of events
-Attending meetings and preparing materials
-Assistance to the director and the rest of the Chair’s members, both at
UPF and Ideograma
*Requirements*
The candidate should hold –or be enrolled in- a Master’s Degree or a PhD
in Political and Institutional Communication, Communication, or
Political Science.
The following aspects will be valued too:
-Advanced knowledge of Catalan and Spanish languages and intermediate
knowledge of English
-Knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics
-Knowledge of social media management and web design
-Experience in academic research and authorship of academic articles in
the field of political communication
-Professional experience in the field of communication
*We offer*
-Part-time work (15 hours per week)
-One-year contract
-Start during the first trimester of 2020
-Approximate gross salary: 700 € per month
-Workplace: Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Campus Poblenou, Barcelona) and
Ideograma (Fàbrica Lehmann, Barcelona)
