Doctoral Position
The Department of Communication Studies (Unit: Center for Information, Communication Technologies & Society – ICT&S) is offering a 4-years doctoral position, starting 1st March 2020.

The Unit ICT&S is active in research and teaching in the field of the current transformations of digital society (e.g. datafication) and the consequences for individuals and society. Our research strives for a non media centric approach within the field of communication as social science open to interdisciplinary aspects of digitalization and society (STS studies, digital infrastructres, data science, computer sience). Research is performed as theoretical work as well as empirical studies.

Additionally, the position will be integrated into the affiliated Doctoral School „Internet & Democracy“. The Doctoral School focuses on Research topics in the field of digital transformations in context to structural changes in democratic societies.
