*FILM AND MEDIA STUDIES: TELEVISION STUDIES*
/Full-time or Part-time Lecturer (non-tenure track)/
The Film and Media Studies Program at Tufts University seeks a full-time
lecturer or one or more part-time lecturers for the 2019-2020 academic
year to teach courses at the undergraduate level in Television History,
Media Theory, and Contemporary Television. This limited appointment is
to cover the teaching, advising, and service duties of a full-time
faculty member who will be on a year-long sabbatical. We anticipate
needing coverage for at least four courses and perhaps more.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
A Ph.D. in Film and Television or a humanities-based field with a
television emphasis is preferred; ABDs in these fields are also invited
to apply. Teaching experience at the undergraduate level in Television
Studies or a related field is required.
