Birmingham School of Media is recruiting a lecturer with interests in 
web production and digital culture:

"The successful applicant will contribute to the design and delivery of 
the new media curriculum across the school, with a particular focus on 
our undergraduate programme. They will engage with external communities 
through enterprise or knowledge transfer work, and will make a 
contribution to the rich research culture of the Birmingham Centre for 
Media & Cultural Research.

"The role involves teaching practice and theory modules, supervising 
undergraduate research, and encouraging students to develop as “thinking 
media workers”—theory informed practitioners, equipped for lifelong 
learning. Key undergraduate modules include introductory and 
intermediate web design and development, creative technology, digital 
storytelling, and negotiated student projects as well as theory modules 
which explore aspects of digital culture, new media, and innovation.”
