Full Time, Fixed Term for 3 years
Salary (Grade): H3 £37,775 to £48,580 per annum incl. London Weighting
Applications are invited for a 3 year fixed term post of Lecturer in
Media and Communications in the Sociology and Communications Division at
Brunel University London.
We are looking for an ambitious, dynamic and creative candidate to
complement our research and teaching strengths in media and
communications. The candidate will be expected to deliver and help
develop undergraduate and postgraduate modules in the Sociology and
Communications Division; to develop and pursue a research agenda in
collaboration with a university research centre, hub or institute;
to help develop the research profile of the subject; and to
support the administration of the subject.
Applicants should have completed, or be near to completing, a media
studies or sociology of culture focused PhD, have a developing research
profile and have teaching, learning and student support experience in
media and communications.
