PUBLIC INTERNATIONAL JOB ANNOUNCEMENT





1.       POSITION:



University teacher (assistant/associate/full professor for the field of 
humanities or social sciences)

Status: full-time

Type of contract:         fixed-term (24 months with trial period – 3 
months)

                                       the possibility of permanent 
employment after 24 months



2.       CONDITIONS FOR THE POSITION:



-       rhetoric abilities, inventiveness, organisational abilities and 
communication skils

-       required education/level and area: doctoral degree (PhD)

-       valid habilitation title: habilitation for 
assistant/associate/full professor is required at all time of 
appointment (field:  Humanities, Social Sciences)

-       experiences working in education (preferred)

-       basic computer skils (MS Office)

-       we are seeking a candidate with strong scholarly output who is 
able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, implementing 
administrative tasks within the department, providing input in the 
curriculum development and contribute to the research environment of the 
department

-       candidate is required to teach courses, as follows: Islam and 
the West, Critical theory of culture, Cultural construction of Europe 
and Modern literature and social ideologies

-       candidate must have the bibliography, covering fields for 
coureses listed above





3.       SHORT JOB DESCRIPTION:



-      lectures for students and other educational activities according 
to the curricula,

-      supervision of students for bachelor, master and doctoral thesis 
and the like,

-      directing research work and study activities of students and 
young researchers,

-      research and development work, professional work in the area of 
research projects preparation and updating of curricula

-      conduct, evaluation and correction of examinations

-      mentoring thesis, master's thesis and doctoral thesis

-      participation in management of the faculty

-      scientific research





4.       JOB STARTING DATE:  Academic year 2016/2017
