This post is an opportunity for a candidate with an outstanding 
reputation for research and academic leadership in the field of digital 
and social media. We are now seeking to appoint a senior member of staff 
to develop a range of new research and teaching activities that explore 
contemporary developments in digital and social media and journalism. 
She/he will be expected to lead and develop this work within the 
department’s thriving academic and professional practice journalism 
programmes. The successful candidate will have an established national 
and international reputation in their field, an exceptional publications 
portfolio and a strong track record of attracting external research funding.
