*Two PhD Scholarship in media studies/creative industries*

Lillehammer University College’s department of Social Sciences invites 
applications for two PhD scholarships in the field of media 
studies/creative industries. The PhD candidates will be part of an 
international research project called /How to succeed in the private 
film- and television industries: a production culture perspective./

The applicants’ proposal should outline a project plan (max. 5000 words) 
designed to answer one of the questions listed below:

*PhD scholarship 1:* What are the competitive advantages and 
disadvantages of being a regional company in the Norwegian film and 
television industry?

*PhD scholarship 2: *What are the competitive advantages and 
disadvantages of digitization and new media for private film and 
television companies in Norway? The project description can accommodate 
studies of concept development, production, marketing and/ or distribution.

Both scholarships run for a period of three year.

Applicants for both positions must be fluent in English *and* either 
Norwegian, Danish or Swedish.
