[ecrea] PhD studentships in Film at the University of Kent
Fri Nov 29 17:36:15 GMT 2013
The School of Arts at the University of Kent is inviting applications to
our Film PhD programmes. The Faculty of Humanities at Kent is a member
of CHASE (with six other institutions in the South East), a consortium
that was recently awarded an AHRC Block Grant Partnership which provides
75 studentships available in 2014/15 across the entire consortium.
Applicants wanting to pursue a PhD in Film will compete for these
studentships with applicants to other programmes in the School of Arts,
other schools at Kent and other members of the consortium.
In addition, the School of Arts has a number of Doctoral Scholarships to
award as part of the University of Kent’s 50th Anniversary scheme. These
scholarships will be for Graduate Teaching Assistantships (GTAs), which
will cover tuition fees at the home/EU rate plus a maintenance grant and
a salary. GTAs will be offered for one year in the first instance,
renewable for a maximum of three years subject to satisfactory academic
progress.
Details about both the selection process for the CHASE scholarship and
Kent’s 50th Anniversary scholarship can be found here:

start the application process.
