[ecrea] Lecturer in Digital Cultures

The Department of Communication and Media and The School of Music, University of Liverpool wish to appoint a Lecturer in Digital Cultures. Applicants with expertise in social media, audio-visual cultures, screen media, and/or video games, are especially welcome, but those with teaching and research expertise in other areas of digital media are also encouraged to apply.
This is a permanent post in which you are expected to develop your capacities and experience in research leadership and research strategy. The postholder will already have a record of significant research publications and funding activity, and will be expected to make a substantial and sustained contribution to the internationally excellent research profile of the two departments. Accordingly the post will carry a lighter teaching load and minimal administrative responsibilities during the first three years; you will teach 50% of a normal load in the first two years, scaling up to 75% in the third year.
