LECTURER IN DIGITAL MEDIA AND WEB DEVELOPMENT

2 YEARS

The Department of Languages, Information and Communications at 
Manchester Metropolitan University offers a portfolio of undergraduate 
and postgraduate programmes, that include web development, digital 
media, multimedia journalism, and information management.  We are 
seeking to appoint a Lecturer who will teach on these programmes, 
contribute to their management, generate commercial income, and further 
develop our partnerships with internal and external agencies.

Applications are invited from candidates with relevant qualification and 
experience in the field of digital media and web development. The 
successful candidate will have experience of teaching digital media 
production that includes image, video and audio production; web 
technologies; and the applicable regulatory framework.  Ideally, 
candidates will have specialist knowledge of contemporary critical 
concerns in digital media production and related theoretical fields, 
current practices and standards, and be able to contribute to the 
enterprise and research interests of the Department. Closing date 21st 
October 2012.
