As part of this recruitment campaign we will be making a number of appointments across all academic disciplines.

     PhD students.

   Fellow <http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/seriousbrainpower/register>

With a record of impressive early academic achievement, you will pursue original ideas and be ready to establish networks and build research programmes.

To be considered for a Fellow position, you will be able to give evidence on how you fulfil the following essential criteria:

   * Post-doctoral research experience, supported by outstanding
personal academic records, commensurate with your career stage.
   * A high quality publication record that will enhance a REF submission.
   * Ability to develop independent research objectives, projects and
     proposals.
   * A successful record in securing research grants, as appropriate to
     your disciplinary area.

   Application Process

You can complete your application in three easy steps by clicking Apply Now. You'll be asked to upload your current CV and supply a covering letter, explaining your motivation for applying for these posts and the direction you see your research going in the next five years. You'll also be asked to complete an Equal Opportunities Form.

Your application will be considered by a panel of academics with knowledge of your subject area. Due to the number of anticipated applications and the need to conduct a thorough, robust and transparent shortlisting process, we do not anticipate interviews being held until early 2012. All applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application in due course.
