*Advertising Faculty Position - The University of Texas at Austin (2011-12)*


The Department of Advertising&  Public Relations at the University of Texas
at Austin seeks applicants for a tenure-track position at the assistant
professor level to begin Fall 2012. Applicants should have interests in one
or more of the following areas: new media, management, media research,
integrated marketing communications, or account planning. Applicants should
also be interested and have some experience in web-based instruction. Salary
is competitive. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or be a candidate near
completion of the Ph.D. with evidence of outstanding research and teaching
potential. The Department offers undergraduate degrees in advertising and
public relations and masters and Ph.D. degrees in Advertising.
