The Programme in Comparative Media Law and Policy (PCMLP), Centre for
Socio-Legal Studies, at the University of Oxford, seeks to appoint a
Research Officer to develop and coordinate PCMLP's media law research
projects, particularly in China.
PCMLP is looking for a highly-motivated individual, interested in
researching media in a transnational context. The appointment provides
substantial scope for academic judgment, creativity and independence.
The successful candidate will have a doctorate in law, or will have a
doctorate in a relevant social science subject and will have had legal
training. While desirable, specific experience of working in China is not
required.
This post is wholly funded by external research grants and is a two-year,
fixed-term position, with a possibility of renewal, to start as soon as
