Media Studies. R/A with Prof. Peter Golding
Salary: £20,316 - £23,767
We would welcome applications from well
qualified graduates in social science or media
studies to work with Professor Peter Golding,
Pro Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation).
You will undertake research assistance including
library research, drafting of papers and
presentations, basic data collation and
analysis, and similar tasks in the field of
media sociology. You will also spend a
substantial amount of time developing your own
research in a related area, supervised by
Professor Golding, for which you will be
registered for a part-time doctorate with all fees met by the University.
Applications are particularly welcome from those
interested in research in the political economy
of information, the commercialisation of
knowledge and information, the media and public policy, and related areas.
