The Division of Media, Culture and Journalism, University of Glamorgan,
is pleased to announce a fixed term lectureship to cover colleagues'
forthcoming research leave. The deadline is quite tight, so we suggest

Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural Industries, University of
Glamorgan
£31,671 – £36,715 per annum, pro rata.

The University of Glamorgan is looking for a fractional lecturer in
Communication, Cultural and Media Studies to work in its successful new
School of Creative and Cultural Industries located in the centre of
Cardiff. You will have completed a PhD in a relevant subject, enjoy
working collaboratively and be passionate about teaching and learning.
The new appointee will be expected to teach on a range of media theory
modules at undergraduate level, and applicants with one or more of the
following specialisms would be particularly welcome: consumer cultures,
contemporary popular television, media theory, international media;
journalism studies; and comparative media histories. This is an ideal
opportunity for an early-career academic to improve their teaching
portfolio within a dynamic and supportive subject team.
