MEDIADEM (?European Media Policies Revisited:

Media in Contemporary Democratic Systems?) is a

Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia,
Finland, Germany, Greece, Italy, Romania,
Slovakia, Spain, Turkey and the UK with a
comparative analysis across media sectors and
types of media services, and will investigate
the complex array of policy approaches and
regulatory and self-regulatory practices
established to safeguard media freedom and
independence. The Programme involves 13 partners across Europe.
The researcher will work under supervision from
senior researchers. Additionally, the researcher
will start writing a PhD thesis in a topic of
Philosophy of law, Legal Theory, European Law or
Media Law and Regulation. Applicants are welcome
to write in English or French.
The candidates will have an excellent knowledge
