Salary : £32,458 to £43,662 per annum, depending
on qualifications and experience (salary can
progress to £50,569 per annum, subject to performance)
This full-time post is available from 1 September 2009
Applications are invited for the above post
which has been designed to span and strengthen
the links between American and Canadian Studies
and Film and Television Studies.
The successful candidate will be a specialist in
American Popular Culture and/or Film and
Television Studies and will be able to conduct
research and deliver courses in these
areas. They will be responsible for developing,
teaching and examining undergraduate and
postgraduate modules, supervising undergraduate
and postgraduate dissertations, undertaking
original research, and contributing generally to the work of the School.
Candidates must have successfully completed, or
be close to completing, a PhD by the date of appointment.
