[Commlist] Open rank TT position at the Department of Communication Studies (BGU)

Noam Tirosh is happy to share that the Department of Communication Studies at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel,  invites outstanding communication researchers who specialize in Science Communication or in closely related fields, and whose research focuses on the environment, climate change, and related topics to apply for an open rank position in our department.

Hebrew-speaking communication scholars are encouraged to apply but the position is open to non-Hebrew speakers as well [we expect the candidate to be able to teach in Hebrew after a few years.]

Call for candidates closing date: February 1, 2025

Position starting date: October 1, 2025 [Subject to final approval of the position and the candidate by the relevant authorities at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev]

· Cover letter that includes highlights of your profile.
· Curriculum vitae (CV).
· Research statement that outlines main areas of current and future research. · Teaching statement that outlines areas of teaching and teaching philosophy. · Names, affiliations and contact info of three referees (at least one from the dissertation adviser (for junior candidates)
· Two writing samples from recent research publications

Letters of reference will be requested from applicants selected for interviews. The rank will be determined according to the selected applicant’s experience and achievements.
