[Commlist] Doctoral Funding Opportunities for PhDs at JOMEC (Cardiff University)

The School of Journalism, Media and Culture (JOMEC) at Cardiff University is keen to encourage outstanding researchers to apply for doctoral funding.

There are currently two live calls for student-led projects beginning in the academic year, 2025/26.

The first opportunity (delivered in partnership with Swansea University) is supported by the Welsh Graduate School for the Social Sciences and funded by the ESRC (deadline, 11 December 2024). Applicants wishing to pursue research in the area of ‘Journalism, Digital Media and Democracy’ can find all the relevant information here:
