[Commlist] "Safety for Journalists" International Conference - Call for Papers & Specialized Training

Nikos S. Panagiotou and colleagues are excited to announce the upcoming 
international conference, "Safeguarding Journalists: Mapping the Field," 
which will be held from September 20-22, 2024 in Thessaloniki Greece. 
This conference aims to bring together experts, academics, and 
practitioners to discuss the critical issues surrounding the safety of 
journalists worldwide.

*Call for Papers:* We invite submissions of abstracts for papers that 
address various aspects of journalists' safety, including but not 
limited to legal frameworks, technological threats, psychological 
impacts, and field strategies. The deadline for submissions is [insert
