Special Issue: ‘Latin American/Latinx Fashion’
The articles contained here speak to Latin American and Latinx 
lifestyles and cultural diversity as well as the survival and influence 
of native, African and European dress in the forging of fashion and 
style identities. Other topics discussed include ideas of beauty and 
style, cultural appropriation, shifting values and perceptions of 
fashion and style, and the development of fashion systems in the region, 
including emerging markets, designers, brands and venues.

Aims & Scope
Fashion, Style & Popular Cultureis a peer-reviewed journal specifically 
dedicated to the area of fashion scholarship's interfacings with popular 
culture. It was established to provide an interdisciplinary environment 
for fashion academics and practitioners to publish innovative 
scholarship in all aspects of fashion and popular culture relating to 
design, textiles, production, promotion, consumption and 
appearance-related products and services.
This title is indexed with Scopus and the Web of Science’s Emerging 
Sources Citation Index (ESCI).
