[Commlist] Special issue Digital Culture meets Data published

Aristea Fotopoulou is pleased to let you know that the special issue *Digital Culture meets Data: critical perspectives*(eds. Aristea Fotopoulou & Helen Thornham) is now published in the journal Convergence: The International Journal of Research into New Media Technologies (Volume 26 Issue 5-6, December 2020). The Special Issue follows on from a conference with the same title organised by *ECREA Section Digital Culture and Communication*, at the University of Brighton.


The issue features an international cohort of authors tackling issues such as:

- bias in online representations of pregnancy,

- data surveillance & predictive policing,

- data sonification & knowledge objects,

- mixed methods of research analysis and dataviz,

- cryproparties and data activism,

- ageism and datafication.
