We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Research Associate to
join the AHRC-funded project *‘Prosecuting Rap: Criminal Justice and UK
Black Youth Expressive Culture.’* The post is for a 12-month period
starting on 1 February 2020 [although flexible working applications will
be considered].

activities that scrutinise how black youth expressive culture is used as
evidence in criminal proceedings in contemporary Britain.
The University of Manchester is committed to building a culturally

would particularly welcome applications from BAME candidates. All
appointments are made on merit. Closing date 9/12/19
