As a lecturer your main teaching role will be to deliver core modules in areas including media industries and audio-visual media production & digital publishing, as well as supervising student industry projects and dissertations. You'll also contribute to the work of the University's research centres, so an active research profile is essential.


With both a Doctorate in a relevant subject or (close to completion) and experience of teaching in the higher education environment, you'll be dedicated to engaging students develop research, professional, and technical skills, thereby readying them for an equally vibrant and competitive employment market including the potential for further academic studies.

You must have the ability to teach on audio-visual creative design production modules including their critical discourse in society and to design and deliver transformative and innovative learning experiences. Experience of module leadership or equivalent experience is desirable.

You'll also contribute to the work of the University's research centres, so an active research profile is essential.

With both a doctorate in a relevant subject and experience of teaching in the higher education, you'll be dedicated to engaging students develop research, professional, and technical skills, thereby readying them for an equally vibrant and competitive employment market including the potential for further academic studies.

You must have experience of course leadership or equivalent and have the ability to complete all administration duties within the course leader role and coordinate team activities.
