*Research Fellow post on ‘Jill Craigie: Film Pioneer’*
The School of Media Film and Music is pleased to offer a 3 year, 
full-time Research post to work on this project*. *Funded by the AHRC, 
the work will be supervised by Lizzie Thynne, (PI) Reader in Film in 
collaboration with Co-Is, Yvonne Tasker (UEA) and Sadie Wearing (LSE).  
The project will be based in the School of Media, Film and Music at 
Sussex University.

You will contribute to the project’s aim of exploring the life and work 
of Jill Craigie (1911 – 1999), including in the production of 
biographical film.  Craigie was one of the earliest women documentary 
makers in the UK, who produced innovative work during and after World 
War Two.
