[ecrea] Call for papers - ICDE Lillehammer Lifelong Learning Summit 2019

CALL FOR PAPERS AND CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS

The ICDE Lillehammer Lifelong Learning Summit 2019 will be an 
international meeting place where education meets work for the 
development of lifelong learning for the future. Researchers and 
professionals in media education and lifelong learning will exchange and 
share their research and knowledge with representatives from the 
industry, employers' organisations and trade unions.
In this Call for papers and Call for contributions, we invite media and 
communication scholars doing research on media education, educational 
media, lifelong learning and related topics. We also invite 
professionals and experts representing the educational sector, work life 
sector and governments to share their experiences, knowledge and best 
practises within lifelong learning.

CONFERENCE TOPICS

The session themes will be organised around the following three levels:

1) Policy and society - global trends in education and work
2) Supply and demand -  how the educational sector best can meet 
institutional needs
3) Learners meet educators - success criteria for inclusive learning 
environments

Contributions within one of the following topics are of particular interest:

. Sustainable Development Goals - inclusion, equality and empowerment (1)
. Policies for new competence needs and employment adjustment (1)
. The digital transformation and automation of business and society (1) 
. Quality assurance in lifelong learning, flexible learning (1) . 
Funding and regulations supporting lifelong learning and employability 
(1) . Best practices world-wide (2) . Enabling meeting places between 
work and education (2) . Facilitating for training and continuing 
education (2) . Towards a sustainable learning organisation (2) . 
Encouraging self-directed learning and empowerment (2)
. Individual strategies for acquirement of knowledge and digital 
competence throughout (working) life (3) . Learning models in flexible 
and online learning: The interaction between content, technology, 
pedagogy and users (3) . Open Educational Resources (OER), course 
portals and MOOCs (3) . New pedagogies - participation, co-production 
and sharing (3) . Learning strategies for social and cultural inclusion (3)

Abstract submission deadline: 20 September 2018 Notification of 
acceptance: 18 October 2018 Conference venue and dates: Scandic
