Thu Sep 29 14:05:29 GMT 2016
Intellect is delighted to announce the publication of Volume 4 of
/Animation Practice, Process & Production./
This issue focuses on different facets of Disney – with two articles
providing different readings of Disney’s /Frozen/ through the lenses of
the superhero genre and of the tradition of ‘poisonous pedagogy’ with
its trope of the ‘Willful child’. This issue also includes an
exploration of the construction computer-animated worlds in animated
feature films, and an examination of a number of production tools and
documents from Disney’s earliest history, revealing the colour
production processes of a leading studio in the early days of motion
picture animation.
