We are currently drafting the *program and schedule* for the conference.
The conference will open on December 17 in the afternoon with
introductory statements by representatives of Chiang Mai University, the
Thai government, UNESCO, UNDP, C4C-World Bank, ASEAN, and others.
December 18 and 19 will be reserved for the academic part of the
conference, with panels and discussion sessions. Most paper
presentations will be scheduled for these days as well. Dec 20 is
probably going to be reserved for keynotes and theme-events (on
Burma/Myanmar, Human Trafficking, Strategies for commons transition and
sustainable development, Small, slow or big data for sustainable
development, etc.) and field exposure trips. The conference will close
on December 21 around noon.

There will be a number of exhibitions and social events organized during
the 5 days of the conference. During the evening we will reserve time
and space for networking and to watch a selection of movies and
documentaries on the themes of the conference (including some of the
award-winning videos from the C4C competition). We also plan to offer
options for field trips and ‘eco-tourism’ during and after the
conference. However, these activities will be charged at an extra cost.

We look forward to the submission of your papers, your online
registration and an exciting conference!
