Culture Unbound: Journal of Current Cultural Research has published two
thematic sections that derive from the conference ‘Current issues in
European Cultural Studies’
[http://www.isak.liu.se/acsis/conference-2011?l=sv], held in Norrköping
in June 2011. The first section, ‘Reports and Reflections from The
Field: Current Issues in European Cultural Studies’, is edited by Ferda
Keskin and documents the conference’s ambition to map the current state
of cultural studies in different parts of Europe. The second, ‘Feminist
Cultural Studies’, is edited by Fanny Ambjörnsson and Hillevi Ganetz and
examines the interface between cultural and gender studies today.
Together they reflect some of the heterogeneity of the contemporary
field of cultural research that also characterises Culture Unbound’s
publishing practices.
