2. Film and History Association Research and Writing Awards
Winners of the FHAANZ Research and Writing Awards will be announced at the Conference Dinner. The shortlisted nominees are:

Among the special events scheduled for the Conference is the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) screening of Annie Goldson's Elgar's Enigma: biography of a concerto (New Zealand, 2006) and John Hughes' The Archive Project (Australia, 2006), both introduced by the filmmakers. 4. Conference Papers in Senses of Cinema
