The University of Salford is home to one of the UK’s largest centres of
teaching and research in journalism and the broader media industries.
We are recruiting a new member of our academic team to join us at
MediaCity, to contribute to and help develop our fast-growing
undergraduate programme in Sports Journalism.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational lecturer with a
proven record of accomplishment in professional sports journalism
practice and experience of teaching in higher education.
You must also have a PhD to be shortlisted for this post.

lecturer with a proven record of accomplishment in professional film
industry practice and experience of teaching in higher education.
We particularly welcome applications from filmmakers who can take the
lead in our Professional Practice teaching, addressing areas of
collaboration, production planning, working on set, wellbeing and
sustainability.
You must also have a PhD to be shortlisted for this post.
