[Commlist] Assistant Lecturer/Professor in Media Studies posts

Sarah Arnold likes to promote two positions available in the Department
of Media Studies, Maynooth University, Republic of Ireland. The
university is based around 20 miles from Dublin city.
The first post is for an Assistant Lecturer/Assistant Professor role in
Media Studies, to carry out research on and to teach subjects related to
media studies, media theory and film studies. See here for further

The second post is also for an Assistant Lecturer/Assistant Professor
role in Media Studies, but with a teaching emphasis on AV practice and
delivering screen production modules on the undergraduate programme.

The posts commence on September 1st 2024 and are full time permanent.
We're looking for someone whose research profile aligns with that of the
Department, for example, gender and media, creative industries, media
and film histories, digital media and digital humanities. Have a look at

We're a small department of around 9 people with two undergraduates and
one MA programme. We have a teaching load of approximately 2 modules per
semester (approx 4-6 hours) and are research active, holding a number of
large European, AHRC and IRC grants.
