Táime Walker: PhD Training School on Representing the Complexity of
History with Interactive Digital Narratives (IDNs)
* The Association of Researchers in Digital Interactive Narratives
(ARDIN) is proud to present a* 5-day summer school* for PhD students
on representing complex Cultural Heritage with IDNs
* This will be hosted by Saint Martin's Institute of Higher Education
in *Malta* between the *23rd and 27th July 2024*.
* During this summer school, PhD students will engage in *mentored
group work to design IDN prototypes* that they can take back with
them and apply in their field of study.
* The summer school is targeted at PhD students working on
representing complex topics in *Digital Humanities, Interactive
Media, Serious Games, Digital Museums, Education, *and *Journalism.*
* It is run by a *network of trainers from the COST action INDCOR* led
by Professor Hartmut Koenitz from Södertörn University in Sweden.
* The training school builds on INDCOR's three *successful training
schools i*n Malta (2021), Messina (2022), and Gran Canaria (2023).
* *Fees *include instruction and cultural visits (incl.
transportation) with limited sponsorship opportunities offered by
ARDIN.
* *Early bird *deadline is being extended until *30 May 2024*.
