*Three-year PhD Scholarship on local visual news in Australia*

This scholarship ($33,826 for three years) is for those with previous 
study or professional experience in journalism, media or communication 
with an interest in the production and consumption of local news.

The PhD student will join an Australian Research Council-funded project, 
DE230101233: Addressing the Crisis of Local Visual News in Regional and 
Remote Australia.

The project is focused on understanding what local visual news looks 
like, how journalists source it, and what regional/rural communities in 
Australia expect of it. More information about this project can be found

The PhD student will be supervised by Dr TJ Thomson in the School of 
Media and Communication at RMIT. Please send a copy of your CV and a
