The teaching ethos in the Department of Film and Television emphasises the combination of film history, theory and criticism with creative filmmaking practices across fiction, documentary, animation and the development of other planned activities such as screenwriting. The successful candidate will have an international profile, demonstrable through their teaching, research projects and publications. The appointee will play a key role in developing collaborations with international universities and developing innovative research and teaching strategies with an international focus.
